Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement
Welcome up on arrival in Hanoi by Asia Charm Tours’s tour guide and driver, we then transfer to hotel in the city center. Relax in the rest of the day.
In the evening, we enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – City tour – Night train to Sapa (B - L)
In the morning, our tour guide and driver will meet us at the lobby of the hotel at 08:30; we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, One Pillar pagoda and Temple of Literature in the morning. The rest of the day we will visit the museum of Ethnic Minority, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Tour ends at hotel arround 17:00, we have a shower at hotel before being picked up and transfer to train station for our night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.
Day 3: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)
We will pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, to take you up to the township of Sapa which takes approx one hour arriving at.
08:00am – After breakfast and a morning shower, we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where we can admire magnificient landscape. Here you will discover the wonderful scenery of Hoang Lien moutain ranges amd meet Black H’mong tribes. Trek through terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa Valley, where we can here a nice swim.
We then cross the suspension bridge towards the Zay village, arriving at Ta Van, where we have dinner cooked on a wood fire enjoying the company and hospitality of our Zay family and homestay overnight.
Day 4: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sa pa (B, L, D)
Enjoy mountainous landscape with your sunrise coffee, then enjoy a delicious breakfast ready to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities.
Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Muong Hoa Valley up the mountain to visit Supan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus back to Sapa. Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi. Overnight on the train.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
We will arrive in Hanoi at around 4:30 AM, and then transfer to hotel for our short relax and breakfast.
At 08:00 AM, we will start our tour to Halong Bay.
The vehicle takes us through the Red River Delta for 3,5 hour and we will arrive the port at around midday. Welcome by the Cruiser crew team and enjoy fresh seafood lunch while the cruise is gliding out.
In the afternoon, we visit Sung Sot cave (Surprising cave) in the middle of the bay and swim. The sunset’s coming is our time to relax on the deck with favorite drink…
Delicious dinner will be served with typical local seafood.
Overnight on boat.
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi - night train to Hue (B, L)
This morning, we will visit Titop Island and relax on the beach. Optional for us is walking up to the top of the island to get panoramic view of the anchorage area.
We then back to the Cruiser to learn the recipes and techniques that go into the most popular dish of the Vietnamese food.
Lunch will be served when cruising back to the port where our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi at around 4:30 PM
Tonight, we take the Vietnam Express train to Hue. Overnight on train.
Day 7: Hue (B, L)
Sites visited: Perfume River, Thien Mu pagoda, Tu Duc King’s tomb, Citadel and Dong Ba Market
Arriving in Hue at around 08:00AM, we meet local tour guide and driver at Hue Railways station, transfer to hotel for breakfast.
This morning, we take a dragon boat along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda), from here we will have a good view of Perfume River and surroundings. And then we take our vehicle to Tu Duc King’s tomb, which is one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest.
Then we transfer back to the city for our delicious lunch at a fine local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market.
Relax and overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Hoi An via Danang (B)
Sites visited: Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach, Danang city, Cham Museum, Marble mountains, Hoi An Town.
Today morning, after breakfast at hotel, we will be transferred to Hoi An by car. Along the way we will stop to contemplate the stunning views north, to Lang Co Beach and South to Danang city. Danang city with Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection if Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world; My Khe Beach – where the American named and used to have their Rest and Relaxation; and the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire and earth). We will arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, check in. Before relaxing, we have our walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An – Free at leisure day (B)
Today we are free at our leisure to explore the World Culture Heritage or rent bikes to the beach or make tailoring, or cooking class. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An – Danang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnel (B)
Transfer via: Domestic flight – morning flight
Sites visited: Cu Chi Tunnel
Breakfast at hotel, we transfer back to Danang to take our flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After 1 hour flight, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome up on arrival and transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon, we will leave Ho Chi Minh City for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Relax and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Mekong Delta tour (B, L)
Sites visited: Cai Be floating market
At 08:00am, we transfer to Cai Be for our visiting to floating market and island. The program will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where we can see how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn is made. The rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish... Lunch will be served at local house. After lunch, we can walk around and then we will enjoy some kinds of fruits when listening to the traditional music. One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta... The cruise will end at Vinh Long city where we take our own vehicle back to Ho Chi Minh City for our night stay.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)

Today our awaiting vehicle will take us back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends.
